Less than 6 weeks to go until we leave now - and let me tell you, it's all go here! Boxes in the hallway, selling stuff on Trademe, and spreadsheets a-plenty so as not to forget anything.
We've now both resigned from our jobs here, so there's no turning back. Not that we want to anyway. Can't wait. We're ready for all the maple syrup they can throw at us. And then roll in feathers or something, just to look cool.
I'd forgotten how much preparation went in to moving overseas. Although I'm sure it wasn't as much last time. With Andrew's ultra-organised-spreadsheeting, no stone is left unturned when it comes to anything that needs doing. I have to say it is a relief to know that it's all written down, and will get done on time as everything has a date next to it. It's making the whole process a lot more relaxing. There shouldn't be any last minute panics this time.
